Effects of Copper sulfate on plants

  • Supplying copper: Copper is an essential trace element for plants, helping to enhance photosynthesis, while promoting root growth and increasing plant resistance.
  • Antibacterial, antifungal: Copper sulfate has the ability to kill many types of fungi that cause plant diseases such as mold, leaf spot fungus, bacteria that cause root rot…
  • Adjusting soil pH: CuSO4 is slightly acidic, helping to adjust soil pH, especially alkaline soils.

Some crops that often use Copper sulfate

  • Fruit trees: Oranges, tangerines, grapefruits, apples, pears…
  • Vegetables: Tomatoes, potatoes, chilis, cucumbers…
  • Industrial crops: Coffee, rubber, pepper…

  • How to apply: Spread evenly on the soil surface, then plow or mix well with the soil. Apply in the early morning or cool afternoon to avoid direct sunlight.
  1. Dilution with water for watering or spraying

  • Dosage: Mix 40g of CuSO4 with 8 liters of water.
  • How to mix: Dissolve CuSO4 completely in water before use.
  • How to apply:
    • Watering the roots: Use the solution to water the roots of the tree, paying attention to watering evenly around the roots.
    • Foliar spraying: Use a spray bottle to spray the solution evenly on both sides of the leaves, stems and branches.
  1. Seed treatment

  • Dosage: Mix about 50g of CuSO4 with 1 liter of water.
  • How to use: Soak the seeds in the solution for about 30 minutes, then remove, wash and sow.

Notes on use

  • Read the instructions carefully: Always read the instructions on the product packaging carefully before use.
  • Follow the dosage: Do not exceed the prescribed dosage, as it may harm the plant.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children and pets.
  • Protective equipment: When using, wear a mask, gloves and goggles to avoid direct contact with chemicals.
  • Rotate drugs: Do not use too often to avoid drug-resistant fungi.
