Cloud technology – New solution in waste treatment
Founded in 2016 by brothers Jacky Tee and Darren Tee, GarGeon is a cloud recycling waste management platform that provides solutions to help businesses handle large amounts of waste. Jacky said: “This technology will help businesses save about 15% on monthly garbage disposal costs.”
The system works by connecting businesses in need with garbage transport units. These units are also responsible for monitoring the process to help customers save costs as committed.
Customers schedule garbage collection and treatment on a separate mobile application developed by GarGeon. Every week, the startup of two Malaysian brothers will provide reports on the situation and amount of waste handled for each business.
The program is run by City University London, providing startups with access to technology projects, using modern research tools, and connecting with entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors,…
Jacky revealed he’s only happy when his idea makes a difference: “I’m happy to see customers get value from our services. Thus helping them save costs and the environment is saved. Protection is my only joy,” he said.
Through the GarGeon app, Jacky wants to promote Malaysia through effective waste management and recycling.
